이소희는 사람들이 즐겁게 경험할 수 있는,
혹은 사람들의 삶에 이로움을 줄 수 있는 것을 만들기 위해 다양한 매체를 탐구하는 것을 즐긴다.

회화를 주전공으로 하다보니 정교한 작업 보다는 실험적이고 매체적인 작업을 좋아한다. 졸업 이전에는 회화를 비롯해 사진과 그래픽, 영화, 애니메이션, 3D 등 다양한 매체를 다루었다.

학부시절 가장 치열하게 고민했던 주제는 ‘꿈’이다. 두번의 졸업전시 모두 이 주제를 다루었을만큼, 손에 잡히지 않는 것을 감각하게 하는 것에 관심을 가지고 있다.
회화와 디자인을 전공하며 다양한 맥락에서 다루어진 작업물을 볼 수 있다.

2025년 현재 대한민국, 서울을 배경으로 활동하고 있으며 5년 간의 서울대학교 학부 졸업을 앞두고 새로운 시작의 방향을을 모색하고 있다. 그간 미뤄왔던 영어공부를 하며 후회없는 학부 생활 마무리를 위한 내년을 계획하는 중이다.

Sohee Lee enjoys exploring various media to create experiences that bring joy to people or positively impact their lives.

With a primary focus on painting, she gravitates towards experimental and media-driven work rather than precise, detail-oriented projects. Before graduating, she explored a wide range of media, including painting, photography, graphic design, film, animation, and 3D art.

One of the most intense themes she explored during her undergraduate years was "dreams." Her work reflects a deep interest in making the intangible feel tangible, allowing people to sense the unseen. By studying both painting and design, she has created works that span multiple contexts and perspectives.

As of 2025, Sohee Lee is based in Seoul, South Korea. With six years of study at Seoul National University nearing completion, she is currently exploring her next steps.

Determined to finish her undergraduate journey with no regrets, she is also focusing on improving her English, which she had put off for some time.
